
Jennifer has always wanted to become a multi-tasking star. Growing up she indulged in a wide range of musical genres, mainly Afro-Caribbean dances such as salsa, merengue and the bachata as well as popular music such as pop hip-hop, R&B. Even though she loved films, it was the world of music that also intrigued her. West Side Story (1961) was the Rita Moreno musical that inspired her the most as well as her main influence. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer was not just an amazing entertainer. She also spent eight years in a Catholic elementary school , called Holy Family. Jennifer then graduated after four years from Preston High School. Jennifer, a talented athlete who competed in tennis and track at school , was also an excellent student. When she was in Castle Hill, she spent the majority of her time in a two story residence. Jennifer moved out of her parents' home at 18 to move out. In the meantime, Lopez worked at a law firm while she took dance classes at night.
