Maureen Denise McCormick is the only child and youngest daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born on August 5th, 1956, in Woodland Hills. Her parents were a mother who was household worker and father who taught. Her three brothers are older: Michael, Dennis and Kevin. At a very young time, McCormick loved to sing and dance. She also often put on puppet shows to entertain the children of the neighborhood. Following her win in her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest in the age group of six years old, Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency called her asking whether she wanted to go into the showbiz. McCormick's first big job was in 1964 when she appeared in an advertisement for Mattel's new doll "Baby Pattaburp." A year later, McCormick starred in a commercial for"the "Chatty Catherine" doll. She was chosen to play the show called Wind It up And It breaks. McCormick was the eldest of three girls with two heads in the TV comedy The Brady Bunch. Florence Henderson was the star as well as Robert Reed was the father. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick revealed, in the book published in 2008 entitled"Here's My Story: How I Survived Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice, that Barry Williams was her screen brother. She was just 16 years old old and the actor was aged 19 at that moment. "It was predicted to occur," said the woman, "but it never happened in the perfect time for us."
