Andressa was able to get rid of the pain when her foster mother caught Andressa when she was in the act. Andressa moved back to reside with his mom and did not know about this until Andressa released her book. Andressa said that prior to when she went through a spiritual change it was hard for her to accept the forgiveness of her abuser. One of the toughest choice I've ever made was to call the man whom I had sexually assaulted. This wasn't easy to do. It wasn't easy. After multiple fasts and prayers I told him via the phone I had forgiven him. I didn't feel like I was guilty, and requested his forgiveness. It was simply a request. I did not justify my actions. In an interview, Globo Mariste Urach tells how she reacted when she found that she was the victim of harassment through her daughters.
