Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord and the flautist piano for three years. She lived off of a student allowance and took off on a part-time job to supplement her budget. Lennox as she was studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy in her performance when as compared to the performance of her classmates. Then she began to consider other options. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. She left the band before the band was asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she sang in The Tourists. A British pop group. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo first album Diva. It came out in 1993. Both commercially as well as critically it was a huge success. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album came out in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favorite blues and soul from childhood. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. The collection consisting of four tracks composed by Lennox. The E.P. This is the companion album to her Now I let it go... artwork, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut self-released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. After a brief successes as a part of the band called The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the pop duo Eurythmics in the 1980s. Lennox began her own solo career when she released her first album Diva in the year 1992. The album was the inspiration of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was released in 1995, has songs that are re-imagined from her most popular songs including No MoreI Always Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale).
